The settlement is scheduled to be in impact on 1 October 2017, one month after the signature date. Permanent residents of Hong Kong and Macau with multiple entry visas can apply for a separate sheet of paper at border checkpoints in Shenzhen and Zhuhai for Chinese entry and exit stamps.
